Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii opened in 2011 and is still going strong 8 years later. Leslie returned to Aulani for the third time with her family for spring break in 2019 and found quite a few things had changed – and almost all for the better. From improvements in the Aunty’s Beach House kids club scheduling to new (and some inexpensive) food offerings, Aulani is a resort that actually seems to be improving with age. This week, we explore all that’s new in 2019 at Aulani and whether an Aulani vacation is still worth it in view of the resort’s increasing prices.

After years of anticipation, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is open for business at Disneyland park! A nearly identical land is coming to Walt Disney World on August 29, 2019, so Disney World fans have been watching Anaheim closely this week for lessons learned and plenty of tips. With only one of the two rides open, the land isn’t quite complete, but there is plenty for Star Wars geeks and Disney fans to love.
